Frequently Asked Questions
What is your return policy?
Returns are accepted (subject to a 15% re-stocking fee) ONLY if the bottles have not been opened, are not damaged and are returned in the original box within 30 days of the order date. Buyer is responsible for return shipping, and shipping charges on the original order will not be refunded.
What makes your Taxidermy Foam “green”?
FSI Taxidermy Foam is environmentally benign, meaning it doesn’t contain any ingredients that harm the environment. Unlike some other polyurethane foams, it does not contribute to global warming, ozone depletion or smog production.
I make a lot of forms in my taxidermy business. Can FSI’s Taxidermy Foam save me money?
We think so! Your exact savings, of course, will depend on what you’re paying for taxidermy foam now. But we have found that FSI Taxidermy Foam typically costs less – often much less – than foam from other suppliers, while still giving you all the benefits of a premium product. Plus, our Taxidermy Foam is available in three kit sizes (as well as in bulk drum and tote sets that offer even greater savings), so you’re sure to find an option that's cost-effective for your business. For large volume users, we also offer dispensing equipment, providing much greater efficiency compared to hand mixing.
How durable is your Taxidermy Foam?
While our Taxidermy Foam is easy-to-use when you’re cutting or carving, it’s also very durable. It’s chip resistant, and also strong enough to hold tacks and staples.
Can I use FSI Taxidermy Foam to both pour into form molds as well as carve to create my own custom form?
Absolutely. Whether you use an existing mold to produce a form, or pour a block of foam to cut and carve yourself into a custom form for your wildlife art, FSI Taxidermy Foam is perfect for both uses.
